The Samaritans telephone service is available 24 hours a day.

Aware

Aware provide support and assistance to people affected by depression, bipolar and mood disorders. Aware has support groups around the country. Helpline and next-day email support service available. Aware have a freephone helpline that is open Monday-Sunday from 10am to 10pm – 1800 80 48 48.

Turn2Me: Online Mental Health Support
Turn2Me  provides a lot of information and resources also provides online counselling free of charge.

Mental Health Ireland provides resources, information and training in relation to mental health.

Lust for Life
This is a great website which contains, information and resources including other people sharing their stories.  Lust for Life is currently running a free online cognitive behaviour therapy course.

This section of the HSE website contains a lot of valuable information and resources about mental health.  There is section for Local Events where you can find out what is happening in your local area.

Shine
Shine supports people with mental ill health and their families and friends in a number of different ways.
Their information helpline 1890 621 631 is open every day from 9am to 4pm and can provide general information, a listening ear and specific information about Shine services.
